Programmatic advertising is a massive market that’s projected to hit $45B by 2019 (eMarketer research). Think of programmatic as a stock exchange for ads. Our programmatic team is a critical element to our revenue strategy and has seen consistent, double digit percentage growth for the past several years. Our goals are to continue this growth, diversify our revenue streams and to maintain an exceptionally high standard of ad quality control.

What you’ll learn:

As the Programmatic Operations Analyst, you will work closely with both the Operations and programmatic sales teams. Here are the key things that you will learn:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of a programmatic revenue landscape and industry macro trends
  • Gain exposure to major platforms: Google’s DoubleClick For Publishers, Google’s Advertising Exchange, OpenX, Rubicon Project, Domo, Omniture to name just a few
  • How to evaluate and onboard new yield partners; pull levers and optimize yield

  • Assist in executing and managing programmatic advertising initiatives from implementation to reporting
  • Interface with operations and programmatic sales teams to continually improve our programmatic offerings
  • Monitor existing partnerships for changes in performance and opportunities for optimization
  • Enforce best practices for open auction, direct deals, and ad quality across the team
  • Troubleshoot issues with creatives, deals, priority and site tagging
  • Set up, optimize and successfully fulfill programmatic direct campaigns post-sale including Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed deals from beginning to end (we work with Fortune 100 clients)


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent is required
  • An ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of DFP/DSM and/or prebid.js
  • 1+ years programmatic experience managing yield revenue operations for a publisher is preferred
  • 1+ years advertising operations campaign experience at major publisher or media agency is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to project manage and prioritize, multitask and work independently
