Optimization Manager

We are looking for a campaign management and operations superstar to join our rapidly growing campaign operations team. As an Optimization Manager, you will be responsible for configuring, managing and optimizing advertising campaigns on our innovative and proprietary Programmatic Direct Mail platform.

Our ideal candidate is organized, patient, creative and analytical. You are service-driven, and your colleagues marvel at your ability to expertly juggle many tasks under pressure. You excel at understanding campaign data at the most granular levels, but you also have a knack for zooming out to see the forest-for-the-trees and knowing what advertisers need to succeed.

Your Contribution:
  • Own the campaign operations lifecycle for Programmatic Direct Mail campaigns for Enterprise and Mid-Market advertisers
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop strategies and tactics to inform campaign media plans
  • Manage trafficking of Programmatic Direct Mail campaigns in PebblePost Platform
  • Coordinate all aspects of successful campaign delivery -- including campaign reporting, pacing, analysis, advertiser insights and optimization
  • Manage initial triage and troubleshooting of campaign delivery or performance issues
  • Review and analyze campaign delivery/performance analytics and coordinate with Sales to present reporting and insights to advertisers
  • Collaborate with Finance team to close out monthly billing and resolve monthly and ongoing invoicing queries
  • Provide on-call support -- when required -- for advertiser-related emergencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years of digital advertising and online media experience, with strong emphasis supporting sales organizations and advertising clients
  • 1 year of digital campaign operations experience with a publisher, network, DSP or ad tech provider
  • Professional communication skills, both internally and externally with customers. Ability to articulate thoughts and concepts fluidly. Personality to quickly build rapport and build professional relationships
  • Project management experience
  • Quick learner and detail oriented; critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn and use new productivity software application tools
  • Experience with the Google suite, JIRA and Confluence tools
Would be awesome if you also had:
  • Coursework in Business Administration, Media, Advertising, or Marketing
  • Strong interest in the digital media, advertising, and emerging technology industries
  • Working familiarity with a broad range of business functional disciplines, including ad sales, creative services production, revenue operations, inventory planning, yield optimization and marketing
  • Knowledgeable about industry ad categories, various modes of online ad sales channels and ability to translate those customer requirements into technical/operational solutions
