Director, Digital Influence

Markstein is searching for a digital media professional with 5-7 years of experience developing and implementing robust strategies. The position requires an innovator, trendsetter, and progressive thinker who can connect digital media to all other aspects of a company’s business to drive growth opportunities. From high-level planning and benchmarking to tactical implementation to analytics, a strong candidate will be well-versed in digital and content strategies for brands actively engaging with B2C, B2B and blended audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Advance the Digital Influence practice area by constantly evolving its direction and motivating team members to accomplish success that supports overall agency growth
  • Research and evaluate emerging digital technologies and provide thought leadership on adoption strategies
  • Translate big-picture, integrated thinking into actionable and measureable strategies that maximize results
  • Collaborate with analysts and other digital marketing professionals to model digital marketing media mix scenarios using competitive, category and client data
  • Develop and implement A/B or multivariate tests to provide in-depth insights on the effectiveness of online/digital initiatives
  • Gather, synthesize, and apply digital insights to inform strategies that integrate all addressable channels and media
  • Lead content strategy development for companies across different industries with innovative, relevant subject matter and distinct voices specific to each client
  • Help cross-functional teams develop and evolve ideas to achieve both B2B and B2C goals
  • Translate and manage the integration of website development with all other digital components
  • Drive goal-oriented, proactive measurement of online activities and integrated, holistic measurement of efforts
  • Connect digital assets to measureable KPIs in order to translate ROI for clients
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of third-party tools
  • Lead and mentor existing digital team members
  • Support business development opportunities by collaborating with internal teams
  • Hold self responsible for assigned projects large and small

Requirements

  • Strong experience with the following:
  • Maximizing Google analytics and other analytics/reporting tools to inform recommendations and strategies
  • Developing Search Engine Marketing and Optimization strategies and tactics
  • Developing social media strategies, including content development and the gathering of data insights across key social channels
  • Tracking, measuring, contributing to and leading digital media and social media trends
  • Understanding of web design and development disciplines and how they integrate with an overall digital strategy
  • Applying quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to turn data and insights into actionable results

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, journalism or related field
  • Agency experience preferred
