Senior Director, Digital Marketing and Ecommerce

Living Proof is seeking a Senior Director, Ecommerce and Digital Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of the LivingProof.com sales channel and online marketing programs. This position will report to the SVP, Global Marketing and is full-time, on-site in our Cambridge MA offices.

The ideal candidate will be a tech-friendly, business-minded, meticulously-detailed leader for our Ecommerce business and digital marketing programs. You have boundless passion for the digital space, a history of accomplishments in it and a hunger to know everything about what’s happening next. You eagerly accept all challenges, no matter how ambitious and will lead the charge to not only meet but exceed them. You can be scrappy and clever when needed; driven to excel always; and an inspiring leader of the DTC business and team.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working within a high-growth environment, and be familiar with all elements of the below outlined responsibilities, so as to be able to jump into the role immediately and become fully immersed with the team.

Responsibilities:
Ecommerce
  • Develop and execute an integrated strategy (short term and long term) that drives ambitious sales growth for the Ecommerce channel
  • Bring bold thought leadership and strong execution to promotions, merchandising, customer acquisition, customer retention and site experience and features for the Ecommerce sales channel while ensuring a uniform standard of excellence and brand positioning for the channel.
  • Hire, lead and manage a cross-functional team of subject matter experts in a variety of digital areas
  • Lead and strategize with agency partners in key areas
  • Define clear KPIs for the business to measure the health and performance of the business against plan
  • Develop and manage all forecast and expenses related to the Ecommerce channel
     

Digital Media
  • Oversee the relationship with our media agency for the strategy and execution of our digital media programs
  • Educate and excite the organization about media opportunities and impact
  • Effectively communicate programs – details and results - to internal teams and channel partners
  • Create a learning agenda for digital media programs
  • Leverage best practices and expertise from channel partners
  • Fanatically follow industry trends, news and examples to be the company’s authority on digital media

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional experience in both Ecommerce and digital media required
  • Completion of BS/BA degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • B2C experience required
  • Has led diverse team of cross disciplinary marketers
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership qualities in complicated situations
  • Must be savvy in MS Excel
  • Must have a fiery drive to seek out answers and a curiosity to answer the questions not yet asked
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills with a very high attention to detail
  • Must have excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Must be savvy at interacting with designers, developers and business team members
